Description:
Buildings account for aproximately 40% of the total energy used. Updated energy codes have reduced buildings energy use over the last nearly 50 years. This program will explore the changes in recent (2018, 2021, 2024) International Energy Conservation Code roofing requirements. The program will also review the IECC referenced energy standard, ASHRAE 90.1 and compare the similarities and differences related to roofing between the 2016, 2019 and 2022 versions of the standard.
